Senior Network Engineer

Job Description:

Experience: 8+ Years Total, Minimum 5 Years with Palo Alto Networks

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in network engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks solutions. Experience with Cisco technologies is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions using Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security platforms.
• Perform network configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with overall IT infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with emerging network technologies and security best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks solutions (firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Experience with VPNs, network security, and firewall policies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for network tasks.
