IT Support Specialist Location: Onsite | Clearance Required
Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and end-user support in a dynamic, multi-platform environment. This role requires hands-on experience with hardware and software solutions, imaging systems, and IT infrastructure maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and consultation for end-user computing and desktop-based systems.
- Assist with operating system imaging and deployment.
- Deliver on-the-spot user training and support as needed.
- Recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements.
- Contribute to infrastructure maintenance and support.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field OR 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of technical operations support experience.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with workstation and computer hardware.
- Understanding of imaging concepts and deployment processes.
- Ability to support and maintain IT infrastructure.
Preferred:
- Active CompTIA A+ certification (preferred but not required).
- Eligibility for security clearance.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced setting requiring 24/7 availability for technical support.
- Routine lifting of items up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.
