Office of the Registrar is looking for Graduate students seeking a part-time position to provide support and assistance.
- Provides support to faculty, staff and students and performs duties as assigned.
- Assists with complex tasks and imaging related to record keeping and documentation.
- Organizes communications and written materials to increase department efficiency.
- Assists with special projects, assigned office tasks, preparation of communications, and planning and execution of events.
- Provides specialized support that requires computer skills, data entry accuracy and software savviness.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from a regional accredited institution.
- Be a current full-time UTRGV Graduate student (9 hours during the Fall or Spring semester and 6 hours during Summer months).
- Be able to work physically at the Edinburg Campus.
- Must have a superior level of customer service.
- Must have excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Be able to multi-task.
- Ability to learn various operational systems.
- Work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
- Must possess superior interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized multitasker
- Must be able to prioritize work in order to meet multiple deadlines.
- 6 months of customer service experience.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (speak, read, and write).
