Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. SAS Developer/Report Writer with 8+ years of experience to support a legacy SAS report migration and ongoing reporting needs. The ideal candidate will work hybrid onsite in Austin (3 days per week) and play a key role in transitioning legacy SAS reports to new systems while maintaining reporting capabilities for various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Migrate legacy SAS reports and data processes to modern reporting and analytics platforms.
Maintain and enhance existing SAS reports for business units still relying on legacy systems.
Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless data transitions.
Develop, test, and deploy efficient and optimized SAS programs for reporting needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve data/reporting issues in legacy and new systems.
Document technical specifications, report migration processes, and business requirements.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with reporting standards and governance.
Required Qualifications:

8+ years of hands-on experience with SAS programming and report development.
Experience migrating legacy SAS reports to modern reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL-based solutions).
Strong knowledge of SAS Base, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, and Enterprise Guide.
Experience working with large datasets, SQL databases, and data manipulation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms.
Familiarity with cloud-based reporting solutions (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Experience in government, healthcare, or financial reporting environments.
