Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: 100% onsite in Rio Rancho, NM
Duration: 3 Months with possible extension

Job Description:
  • Daily monitoring and operation of tools.
  • Load/unload tools, change tool cards, move wafers around lab between tools.
  • Receive wafers shipped to lab from other sites.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, error response, and clearing on tools to keep operations running.
  • Maintain a clean and safe lab environment.
  • Operate complex equipment and analytical tools in an ESD environment.
  • Wear ESD lab coat, conductive shoe straps, and safety glasses during work.
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing, and problem-solving.
  • Maximize output using constraint management techniques.
  • Sustain process, equipment issues, training, and cross-training cluster members.
  • Work efficiently from standard procedures and specifications.
  • Tasks may involve repetitive motion.
  • Position is highly physical, requiring standing, moving, and walking throughout the day.
  • Meet experience and education requirement: 1-3 years work experience in Semiconductor lab or cleanroom, production work experience.
  • Computer software experience, MS Office proficiency required.
General Expectations:
  • Tool and testing priorities will be communicated as they are known.
  • Tool issues should be escalated to the local QRE (Quality & Reliability Engineer) and lab manager/owner.
Education Requirements:
  • Minimum AS degree.
