My client is seeking an experienced and strategic Data Center Director to oversee operations across two active data center locations, with an additional two facilities currently under construction. This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations, infrastructure growth, and high-performance standards while managing a growing internal team and coordinating third-party contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Center Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple data center sites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime.
  • Infrastructure Management: Lead all aspects of racking, stacking, server builds, and asset management to maintain efficient and scalable operations.
  • Hardware Procurement: Manage GPU procurement strategies, ensuring the timely acquisition of hardware to support operational and business needs.
  • Project Oversight: Coordinate and supervise the construction and commissioning of new data center facilities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a growing team of data center professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
