Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Hybrid in Salt Lake City, Utah
Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: Open to Market ($60-65/hr)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, and cost-saving initiatives. The position is hybrid, with a preference for candidates located near Salt Lake City, Utah.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement processes across multiple business units.
- Drive cost savings and implement strategic procurement initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships.
- Utilize procurement software and ERP systems to optimize purchasing.
- Manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of direct procurement experience, preferably in MEP+ or related industries.
- Proven track record of cost savings and strategic procurement success.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Procurement (CPSM, CPPM, or equivalent).
- Master s degree in a related field.
