About the Company:

This role offers a hybrid work schedule!

Position Summary:

  • Guide teams through the onboarding process, oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and enhance user proficiency
  • Define and refine user roles, responsibilities, and role-based security for CRUD access
  • Enhance processes for stakeholders to manage business metadata effectively
  • Support data stewards/owners in defining glossary terms and assist with data ingestion
  • Maintain adherence to data governance best practices
  • Create an operational administrative user guide and a services catalog
  • Develop and implement Playbooks for ingestion and review processes
  • Establish metrics and monitoring processes to assess tool performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Working with communications leads to deliver training and promote the data catalog products.
  • Implement controls to verify the metadata's completeness and accuracy
  • Establish a daily health check routine to ensure ongoing functionality of the data catalog
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, Platform team, and IT to facilitate future integrations and prioritize application onboarding according to the roadmap

Minimum Experience:

  • At least five years of experience in data governance or data analysis
  • Skilled in deploying and managing data catalog products
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, data governance, and lineage
