Job Summary: The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure process consistency and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Participate in new product development and introduction processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Proficiency in process simulation and analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
