Duties And Responsibilities

Candidates are required to reside in the Midwest region of the United States.

Strategically manage assigned OEM key accounts to cultivate positive partnerships and increase sales, serving markets including flexible packaging, converting, nonwovens, and tag and label.

  • Cultivate new business opportunities with existing accounts.
  • Communicate emerging market demands and new product requirements to effectively compete in the marketplace.
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Support the customers with technical assistance and training
  • Develop deep relationships across all levels and departments of assigned accounts
  • Actively use CRM to the expectations of the organization
  • Foster cross-selling of OneMaxcess
  • Identify stated and unstated customer needs, working with internal stakeholders to drive development of custom product bundles and solutions to bundle and develop solutions and product improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of components, machinery or processes used in one or more web handling or converting application (e.g. web or strip coating, laminating, calendaring, printing, converting, etc.) (minimum of 5 years)
  • Prior technical or industrial sales experience working with capital goods or engineered products in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, pneumatics, industrial controls or mechanical products.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good basic mechanical and/or controls aptitude
  • Excellent organization and follow through skills
  • Must be able to make sales calls at the customer location.
  • Must be able to travel to customer locations by car or flight to customers locations throughout the United States. (35-75% depending on home office location).
  • Working from home office with proper ergonomic set-up is required.
  • Work in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment – noise, dust, odors, etc.
  • Able to wear required personal protective equipment – safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university is preferred
