Job Overview:As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing various human resource functions within the organization, ensuring that the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent that aligns with our mission and values. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Working remotely, you will collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure HR processes run smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment for various roles, from job postings to onboarding new hires.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, mediating conflicts and addressing concerns.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits, including healthcare, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
- Performance Management: Support performance evaluation processes, ensuring continuous development and feedback.
- Policy Development: Assist in updating HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Uphold the foundation's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
- HR Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data is properly tracked and analyzed.
Experience:
- 3+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
- Experience with remote/virtual work environments is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
- Proficiency with HR systems (such as HRIS or payroll systems) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of HR-related tasks independently.
- Experience working in organizations focused on holistic healing or non-profit missions.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR-related certifications.
