SAIC has an exciting future opportunity for an Applications Task Lead in Bremerton, WA. This Naval program will provide IT operations, application management, maintenance, and customer support to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) & Naval Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) including remote sites and detachments in order to meet mission requirements.

This work is contingent upon award news in the Fall of 2025 timeframe.

Work is performed on site in Bremerton, WA.

Job Summary: The Lead Application Management and Operations Support will be responsible for overseeing and managing both corporate and locally developed applications at PSNS & IMF. This position involves ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise and local applications, and leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality service. The role also includes managing batch processing schedules, monitoring processes, and providing 24/7 support for GOTS systems.

Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee support and maintenance of corporate and local applications.
Plan, schedule, and manage the implementation and updates of GOTS and COTS software.
Prepare Test and Implementation Plans for application updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve application anomalies and provide technical support.
Develop and maintain batch processing schedules.
Execute and monitor batch processes and interfaces, troubleshooting and reporting anomalies.
Ensure 24/7 monitoring of batch processes with a presence during required shifts at Bremerton and Bangor sites.
Operate data processing printing equipment and manage print job distribution.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Nine (9) years or more of related experience to the description above.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • or 4 additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in application management and operations support.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g., .NET Framework/Core, ColdFusion, SQLServer).
  • Experience with Agile development practices and source code repositories.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Clearance:
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
