We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Quality Engineering Lead (ETL/Data Warehouse Testing) to work Austin, TX

Requirements

• Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers to drive end-to-end testing for ETL/Data Warehouse projects.
• Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements and understand business processes.
• Design and develop complex SQL test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure accurate and efficient data validation across source systems, ODS, and EDW systems.
• Participate in the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, scenario/case preparation, execution, and defect management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives and timelines.
• Validate stored procedures, views, and data flow processes in the context of the application.
• Lead the testing efforts for SAP HANA and Snowflake-based systems, ensuring quality delivery for Keystone jobs.
• Actively contribute to improving test management processes, tools, and deliverables.
• Provide support and guidance in SAP functional knowledge and S/4 HANA migration processes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the best testing practices are followed across all functional areas.

Qualification

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a proven track record of leadership.
• Strong technical, leadership, analytical, and strategic skills.
• Expertise in ETL and Data Warehouse concepts, including end-to-end testing and data validation.
• Hands-on experience in preparing complex SQL test scripts based on business requirements.
• Strong understanding of stored procedures, views, and data flow processes.
• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA and Snowflake databases.
• Experience with Keystone jobs and other related ETL tools.
• Proficient in test planning, scenario/case preparation, and defect management.
• Familiarity with test management processes and test artifacts (test cases, test scripts, reports).
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Experience working in the manufacturing domain is a plus.
