Project Summary:
This initiative aims to enhance the eligibility and enrollment experience across multiple agencies by streamlining processes and integrating systems. The project is part of the Integrated Eligibility and Enrollment (IE&E) program, which includes:
- Common Noticing Solution (CNS): Generates constituent notices.
- Common Portal: Provides a unified access point for constituents to manage benefit programs and access information from various systems.
Position Summary:
The Senior Integration Lead will report to the Project Director and will be responsible for system integrations, infrastructure architecture, security, and application architecture. This role plays a key part in planning, designing, and implementing integrated technology solutions that align with the long-term vision of the Common Portal. The role requires expertise in Mulesoft, Salesforce, AWS, and API integrations, as well as experience in Agile methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as this role involves mentoring team members and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of middleware solutions using Mulesoft, messaging, cloud, and integration technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs (SOAP & REST) to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with application development teams to build API capabilities, including security and policy management.
- Develop and maintain a service/API registry.
- Conduct code reviews, document unit test results, and oversee deployment documentation.
- Participate in project planning, design, development, and release management activities.
- Work closely with business users, developers, system administrators, and vendors to ensure seamless integrations.
- Maintain task lists, design documentation, and integration artifacts.
- Research and recommend new tools, solutions, and best practices.
- Review technical team deliverables to ensure compliance with architecture standards and best practices.
- Perform risk assessments and mitigation planning for integration solutions.
- Participate in technical audits, design reviews, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot critical incidents and assist in remediation efforts.
- Utilize change management processes to report and resolve anomalies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in software development and integrations.
- Expert knowledge of Mulesoft and related integration technologies.
- Experience working with Salesforce integrations.
- Strong background in AWS services, including API Gateway & WAF.
- Proficiency in XML, JSON schema, and IBM DataPower.
- Strong understanding of TLS/SSL encryption, digital signatures, and security protocols.
- Experience with Azure OAUTH & JWT authentication mechanisms.
- Proficiency in development tools such as SVN, Git, SOAPUI, and Postman.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Mulesoft Certification (preferred).
