HR Generalist
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist in North America to handle employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll administration, benefits management, and administrative support. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of local labor laws, excellent HR expertise, and multitasking ability, with the capacity to maintain timely communication with supervisors, report on progress regularly, and document HR processes to ensure efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll and Benefits Administration
• Process payroll accurately and on time, manage payroll records, and handle benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with local wage and tax laws, addressing any payroll-related issues.
• Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
2. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
• Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
3. Administrative Support & Supplies Procurement
• Manage office supplies procurement and inventory to ensure adequate stock.
• Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination, team-building activities, and office maintenance.
4. Labor Law Compliance and Policy Enforcement
• Ensure company compliance with local labor laws and HR-related regulations.
• Provide labor law consultation, assist in handling disputes and complaints.
5. Work Reporting & Process Documentation
• Maintain timely communication with supervisors and regularly report on work progress.
• Document HR processes (such as onboarding, offboarding) as standard operating procedures to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of HR-related work experience, preferably in North America.
3. Strong knowledge of North American labor laws and compliance matters.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software, with data analysis capabilities.
