Responsibilities
Pinterest’s Sales Manage Development Lead is a pivotal role within our Sales Enablement organization, responsible for creating and implementing development strategies that enhance the capabilities of our sales managers and leaders. Your primary goal will be to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for manager development:
The ideal candidate has a strong ability to lead and inspire a team, sales and operations expertise, analytical skills to make data-driven decisions, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a highly dynamic team environment. Prior experience in sales and sales management is preferred.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate has a strong ability to lead and inspire a team, sales and operations expertise, analytical skills to make data-driven decisions, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a highly dynamic team environment. Prior experience in sales and sales management is preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Create a vision & roadmap for manager development initiatives, aligned with the organization's goals and values.
- Diagnose & define the specific skills and capabilities required of executives to drive transformational results.
- Identify key areas for improvement & design programs that address specific manager and leadership challenges.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to gain insights into their development needs and expectations.
- Manage and oversee the effective utilization of development tools and resources, such as external vendors, to maximize individual and organizational impact.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in leadership development and integrate them into the program as appropriate.
- Partner with Sales Enablement Instructional Designers and/or external consultants to develop high-quality training materials, presentations, and resources, including e-learning modules, case studies, and role-playing exercises.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions and workshops for sales managers and leaders, both in-person and virtually, using a variety of instructional techniques and methodologies.
- Measure and track the effectiveness of coaching and development tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Must have experience designing and delivering high-impact manager programs in large corporate environments.
- Strong root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of organizational dynamics and change management.
- Exceptionally strong positive relationship-building skills with collaborators at all levels to understand their needs and design solutions.
- Ability to manage global, highly visible projects and timelines that span multiple teams and multiple resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration or equivalent experience.
