Job Summary:

We are seeking an Information Technology Analyst I to support IT operations, troubleshooting, and system analysis within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of healthcare information systems (IS), HL7, operating systems, and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
  • Assist with system analysis, database management, and integration tasks.
  • Work with healthcare IS and HL7 standards to support interoperability.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and Visio for documentation and project tracking.
  • Support operating systems and databases, including UNIX, Oracle, and SQL.
  • Assist in development and scripting using Java, HTML, Visual Basic, C, C++, and Perl.
  • Analyze and resolve IT-related problems, ensuring efficient system performance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support to internal users.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree (or in progress) in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with healthcare information systems (IS) and HL7 standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio, UNIX, Oracle, SQL, Java, HTML, Visual Basic, C, C++, and Perl.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
