Together the two organizations provide outstanding project, long-term contract and direct-hire placement services.

This role manages lead generation, business development and sales activities as well as providing account management for clients who seek placement of tech, marketing and creative professionals. Our two organizations add value at every level, with a high-touch approach, competitive, yet accessible offerings that clients and talent trust.

C2 and Talimer seek a confident, scrappy and relentless lead generation, business development and sales professional, to pursue, connect, build relationships and close sales with new and existing clients. C2’s and Talimer’s core client bases serve in tech and creative leadership and hiring roles in ad agencies, marketing firms and in the creative and tech in-house departments for companies throughout the country. Scope of responsibilities:

80% Sales activities

  • Lead generation, prospecting, new business development and closing sales. These responsibilities will include performing research and qualification of prospective clients, initial outreach, and establishment of relationships using a structured prospecting process, supported by leadership, account and recruiting teams.
  • Shepherding the sales process though to closing, negotiating contracts and representing the client's interests throughout the onboarding process.
  • Networking: Our organizations encourage team members to connect with prospects via day/evening networking - IRL and virtual; sponsored events, client meetings, outbound calls, social media outreach, and will explore the ideas you bring to the role too!
  • This position also leads intake meetings for both inbound requests and new client onboarding meetings, supported by C2/Talimer’s Client & Account Manager and a recruiter.

10% Account service

  • Relationship enhancement and incremental sales with existing business clients, supported by C2’s internal processes and our Client & Account Manager.

10% Administrative functions

  • Build and execute a weekly structured approach to lead generation and outreach using tools like Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and industry job boards.
  • Use of TrackerRMS and Zoho CRM tools to document any social, email, phone or physical contact, track leads, enter prospect contact information and record scheduled meetings. You’ll also build reports, track and measure performance against internal metrics.
  • Work with C2/Talimer Client & Account Manager to prepare estimates, negotiate and execute contracts.

About you:

This position requires a process-driven work ethic, dependability, attention to detail and consistent follow-through. Ideal candidates are friendly, charismatic and confident, have an established network and can effectively connect within our industries. We will consider applicants with B2B sales experience in the staffing industry or work experience in the tech/design/advertising/marketing/creative industries.

Candidates with experience in both staffing and the tech or creative industries will knock our socks off!

Requirements:

  • 3+ years consultative selling experience in staffing/custom service or tech/creative industries
  • Successful track record of identifying, qualifying and successful relationship development with prospects, closing sales and maximizing all opportunities
  • Comfort with metrics-driven sales culture and outside sales
  • Ability to identify, qualify and address client challenges with speed and scruples
  • Dynamic entrepreneurial spirit and influential communication style
  • Demonstrable strategic, organized, solution-based selling skills
  • Self-starter with the initiative to effectively collaborate on and execute a sales plan with little supervision
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with emphasis in business/marketing/communications, or commensurate work experience
  • Must be more than computer literate…ideal candidate is proficient or savvy with Mac OS, social media properties (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X), CRM software, Google Suite, email programs, SMS for business, etc.
