Brellium is a health-tech startup developing a completely novel, applied AI technology to tackle clinical quality, helping clinics analyze their medical records to deliver better care and decrease insurance clawbacks. We are committed to empowering clinics and driving a leap in efficiency in the American healthcare system. We are seeking an Operations leader to work cross-functionally across the organization, initially leading Operations, Recruiting, and Finance with overlap in customer success, product, and marketing. This role works hand-in-hand with our Co-Founder & CEO.
This Role Might Be For You If
You are a hard worker eager to contribute to cutting-edge technology and thrive in a collaborative team setting. You’re enthusiastic about joining a small, energetic team in the heart of New York City (Flatiron). You're excited about the intersection of AI and health tech and want to be part of a forward-thinking company. You are a creative problem solver with a deep understanding of people and strong communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, in person work environment, enjoy collaborating across teams, and want to be a founder as your next step.
What You’ll Do
As our Operations leader, you’ll help diagnose & solve problems across the business. You’ll work with our CEO across the organization, segment issues, and begin fixing. This role requires strong operational expertise, the ability to think from first principles, excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to think on your feet.
You’ll focus on finding the hardest problems in the business, figuring out where things are breaking, solve them, then moving on to the next problem. Longer term, this role can expand to growing your operational responsibility across more functions or shifting full-time into leading an individual function.

Example situations over the past few months that you’d own:
- Recruiting
- Our new founding recruiter is ramping OK, but communication between he and hiring managers is slow and hiring managers are unsure of progress. Diagnose where the communication gaps are, set metrics reportable to you to gauge progress, and monitor.
- Product
- Engineering is constrained and we need to speed up our product roadmap, figure out a low/no-code solution to ship an MVP of desired product quickly and work with marketing/sales to validate with customers.
- Customer Support
- Customer support is constrained and doesn’t have time to build a scalable support ticketing system. Work with customer support, figure out what’s breaking, fix the problem, and set metrics to monitor success of changes.
- Finance
- We have a board meeting in 2 weeks. Finance is messy, and needs to be buttoned up to present well at the meeting. Coordinate with Finance individual contributor to make sure we’re on schedule and presenting the correct metrics to elicit the most help from our board.
- Extreme sense of ownership
- Positive attitude, empathy, and high energy
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think from first principles
- Live in NYC, or can move within the next 30 days. We value in-person collaboration and work 5 days a week from our Flatiron office space.
- Previously founded a tech company
- Previous investment banking or consulting experience
- Can write code
