We are looking for a highly driven, hardworking, and strategic sales leader to direct the sales function at Obsess. You will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve company sales targets and leading the sales organization. You will work one-on-one with our CEO to develop and refine our sales strategy to propel company growth. You will work cross-functionally to understand sales needs, act as a company brand ambassador to external sources, and drive revenue growth through successful sales efforts.
You must have experience leading sales for B2B SaaS products to brands and retailers before. Additionally, having B2C sales experience in the e-commerce space is a plus.

Compensation Range: $150,000 - $175,000 base salary based on experience. Total compensation is a mix of base salary and commission.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Work with the CEO and VP of Finance to set quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets for the company.
- Manage sales teams and maintain sales operations.
- Motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
- 7+ years of sales experience in progressively senior positions.
- Proven work experience as a sales leader either as a Director of Sales or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products and the market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Startup experience strongly preferred.
- A “doer” and leader - as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get work done as you are developing strategy and leading projects.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, take ownership, and drive results quickly - while optimizing over time.
