Description
We are presenting an opportunity for an ISO Consultant to be an integral part of our team located in San Ramon, California. The role primarily involves working on various projects related to ISO standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485. This role will be required to travel to various clients throughout the Bay Area/Sacramento, must be open to working 1099.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify gaps in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 standards
Develop and implement procedures that address identified gaps and align with ISO standards
Conduct training sessions to ensure team understanding and adherence to ISO procedures
Perform internal audits to ensure continued compliance and identify any areas for improvement
Assist clients who are new to ISO in understanding the standards and processes
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources effectively
Provide support to clients of varying sizes and industries, including tech and medical device industries
Assist in maintaining ISO certifications for clients whose internal ISO personnel are unavailable
Stay updated on new ISO standards and incorporate them into client procedures as necessary
Work with clients to close any gaps identified during audits, ensuring continued ISO certification.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience as an ISO Consultant or in a related field
Proficiency in ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 standards
Extensive experience in conducting audits and ensuring compliance
Ability to act as a Lead Auditor with a focus on continuous improvement
Proven track record in implementing ISO standards in various organizations
Strong understanding of the principles and practices of ISO standards
Excellent analytical skills to identify and fix compliance issues
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ISO standards to various stakeholders
Commitment to stay updated with changes in ISO standards and regulations
Ability to provide training and support to internal teams regarding ISO standards
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
