An LA ad agency is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for month-end close, GL accounting, and processing payroll. What do you need for this Accounting Manager role?
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
* 10+ years of accounting experience
* MUST have experience in accounting for an ad agency in the last 5 years (and have worked there for at least 1 or more years)
* Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?
* Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and general ledger management.
* Prepare financial statements, monthly/quarterly closings, and tax filings in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Manage client billing, revenue recognition, and media reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in project financials.
* Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.
* Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial requirements.
* Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
* Collaborate with account management and media teams to track project costs, profitability, and margins.
* Implement and enhance financial controls, policies, and accounting systems.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
