The SAP FICO consultant will be responsible for delivering and supporting solutions related to various financial and controlling modules within SAP, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Fixed Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Controlling Profitability Analysis (COPA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Order Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Work and Support: Collaborate with the Finance department to provide expert SAP knowledge, aiding in the initiation of operating improvements and solutions.
- Business Process Reviews: Facilitate reviews to gather expected business outcomes and functional requirements, and document end-to-end processes and business requirements.
- Cutover and Hyper-care Support: Provide support during project cutover phases and perform hyper-care support on SAP FI/CO applications as needed.
- Single Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for FICO requirements, analyzing and delivering optimal solutions.
- Product Costing: Apply hands-on experience with Product Costing for both US Domestic and International locations (Europe/Asia Pacific) and Material Valuated and Non-valuated Order costing.
- COPA Configuration and Integration: Support COPA configuration and ensure seamless integration of SD/MM/PP with FI modules.
- e-Invoicing Implementation: Experience with e-Invoicing implementation is considered a plus.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in SAP FICO modules, particularly in Product Costing and COPA.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SAP FI/CO applications and their integration with other SAP modules (SD/MM/PP).
- International Exposure: Experience working with international locations, particularly in Europe and Asia Pacific.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze business requirements and deliver effective SAP solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to facilitate business process reviews and document requirements.
- Support Skills: Ability to provide effective support during project cutover and hyper-care phases.
- Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, MIS, or Financial Accounting.
- Minimum of 4 full SAP life-cycle implementations, and upgrades
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Upgrade is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- e-Invoicing: Experience with e-Invoicing implementation.
- Product Costing: Experience with US and International locations
