This is an Architect and a Developer role.
Must Have:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 8+ years of programming experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Lead MuleSoft Architect/Developer.
- Experience leading design sessions and presenting complex technical concepts.
- Experience working in an Agile project environment (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong understanding of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange).
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs using RAML or OpenAPI.
- Experience building Mule flows, error handling strategies, DataWeave transformations, message filters, flow controls.
- Strong knowledge of MuleSoft connectors (Database, Salesforce, FTP, JMS).
- Experience with API Gateway configurations and policies (security, throttling, rate limiting).
- Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect for secure integrations.
- Strong understanding of integration architecture and patterns (batch, pub/sub, service orchestration).
- Proficiency in Git, Maven, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK Stack, MuleSoft Monitoring).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems.
- Familiarity with OOP languages (Java, C#).
- Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Willingness to undergo a 7-year HireRight background check.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- The MuleSoft Architect/Developer ( Contractor ) will work with our existing internal MuleSoft product management team, AtoZ, MuleSoft Vendor Teams and existing development staff to develop, enhance and streamline our MuleSoft systems.
- This position works with minimal supervision and exercises independent judgment within well-defined parameters.
- This position is responsible for developing and customizing all technical aspects of MuleSoft and will collaborate with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to determine requirements and translate them into business needs in order to design, configure, test and deploy effective tools within MuleSoft environment.
- In Addition will participate in the review of the source code, participate in Agile ceremonies such as: daily scrum meetings, planning, retrospection, etc.
- Provide input and clarifications to other developers during development of deliverables and when applicable, provide access to appropriate staff to clarify requirements.

- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer I/II.
- Cloud & Messaging Experience:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Salesforce, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with message queues and event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Previous experience working with government agencies or large-scale enterprise integration projects.
- Experience implementing automated testing and deployment strategies.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
