About Taro Health

Taro Health is a team of healthcare nerds, software engineers, product designers, direct primary care doctors, health insurance experts, and more. We are building a healthcare system that makes sense, starting by redefining the role of health insurance – one that focuses on reducing friction for doctors and patients, and investing in ways to create more meaningful doctor-patient relationships. Description

As the Memberships Product Engineer and early team member at Taro Health, you will be the go-to person for member services to support their workflows so that they can provide high quality service to our members. You will also own member-facing applications, as well as automations and integrations with tools used by member services.

As a Part Of The Engineering Team, You

• Enjoy collaborating with other highly motivated people to ship product and code solutions to production multiple times a day
• Clearly communicate justifications and trade-offs for technical decisions and system designs
• Iterate quickly when new information arises, incorporating feedback from users, stakeholders, and teammates
• Invest in your and your teammates’ technical learning and growth
• Are motivated to solve large, ambiguous, and complex problems
  
  

We are looking for someone who has

• 2+ years of experience
• The ability to give and process constructive feedback
• A genuine interest in understanding how the US healthcare system works
  
  

Bonus points

• Worked in a startup or launched side projects to users
• You have experience with React, Next.js, Python, Flask, Sqlalchemy, PostgreSQL, and/or AWS
• You have experience in the healthcare industry
• You have worked on integrations with external systems and industry-specific vendor software
