  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy API gateways and microservices architectures using Kong, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Integration: Integrate Kong with various backend services, databases, and third-party applications to streamline data flow and enhance system interoperability.
  • Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of API gateways and microservices, addressing issues related to latency, throughput, and reliability.
  • Security Management: Implement security measures such as authentication, authorization, and encryption to protect APIs and microservices from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of API and microservices architectures.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectures, configurations, and processes to support ongoing development and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing API gateways and microservices architectures , minimum 5 yrs of experience with Kong.
  • Knowledge and proven experience of Kong clustering, management and best practices is a must.
  • Strong understanding of API management, microservices patterns, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in API and microservices environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
