- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including a review of financial, criminal, and residential history for the last 7 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize DevOps pipelines for Salesforce using tools like Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Version Control & Branching Strategies: Manage and maintain Git repositories, ensuring best practices for code branching, merging, and pull request reviews.
- Automated Testing & Code Quality: Integrate static code analysis, unit tests, and functional testing into the DevOps pipeline.
- Release Management & Deployment: Oversee multi-environment deployments, sandbox refreshes, and change set management for Salesforce releases.
- Environment & Configuration Management: Manage Salesforce environments, ensuring data integrity, configuration consistency, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce DevSecOps best practices, ensuring security controls are integrated into the release process.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up alerts, logging, and monitoring to track deployment issues and system health.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with developers, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to optimize release processes and improve deployment efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps or Salesforce development with strong CI/CD exposure.
- Expertise in version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Metadata API, SFDX, and deployment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, permissions, and environment management.
- Experience with Salesforce development (APEX, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer, Platform Developer I/II, or Administrator).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for Salesforce (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Apex tests).
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
