Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Palantir Developer to support a remote project. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and Palantir Foundry development. Responsibilities:

  • Participate in user interviews to gather technical and customer requirements.
  • Develop front-end architecture within Palantir Foundry Workshop.
  • Design user interactions and intuitive interfaces for web applications.
  • Implement back-end logic leveraging ontology-based data linking within Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Workbook, and Ontology Manager.
  • Create and maintain servers, databases, and datasets as needed.
  • Monitor and ensure the health of data connections and pipelines (e.g., Filesystem, JDBC, SFTP, Webhook).
  • Maintain compliance with security protocols and sensitive data markings.
  • Ensure responsiveness and cross-platform optimization for web applications.
  • Oversee projects from conception to completion, aligning with customer needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest web application technologies and programming languages.
  • Lead and mentor engineers on project development and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and data visualizations.
  • 1+ year of experience building Ontology objects in Palantir Foundry.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Ontology concepts, permissions, and data flow in Foundry applications.
  • Experience configuring Ontology objects using backing datasets and access controls.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in PySpark, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Palantir Foundry development.
  • Experience enabling write-back capabilities using Workshop Actions/Scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of low-code/no-code application development.
  • Experience in data security, access control, and compliance best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to understand and fulfill data needs.
  • Experience collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and engineers.
