Sr.Golang Application Development Engineer Mongo, APi's 100% Remote Contract to Permanent Job

We have a 3-6 month contract to Permanent role for a Sr. Golang Application Development Engineer. 100% Remote. Must have 5+ years experience with GoLang with MongoDB and API's

• Day to day: This person will be working on new requirements for the existing client system. Everything will be backend. This person will also be responsible for working through any prod issues as well as any new projects. For new projects: This person will be collaborating with Tech Lead and BSAs on the team at the beginning of any new projects. Once the design for the new project(s) is established and broken out into stories, the contractor will work individually on their stories. Stories can be a new project, enhancements or prod issues.
• This person will be meeting with the manager daily for daily stand-up call and will have scheduled 1:1 calls with the manager.
• Majority of technical work will be with the Tech Lead on the team, Tech Lead will be providing guidance on the technical side. Talking with the manager at least once a day to make sure they are focused on the right priorities. This person will work with the manager for more of the admin side of things.

Nice to haves: Agile environment experience preferred, Kafka experience preferred, MongoDB preferred, AWS cloud experience preferred, if candidate already has 278 EDI experience that would be great but not required. Disqualifiers: Less than 4 GoLang experience would immediately disqualify candidate. Performance indicators: Looking for someone who understands the need for scalability and performance from the 278 system perspective. Best vs. average: Would consider 4 years if candidate is very strong. 5 years of GoLang would put candidate at top of list, 4 years GoLang is OK but 5 years preferred.
