The Advanced Analytics Enablement Team focuses on building an Analytics Center of Excellence, bringing cutting-edge capabilities into the business. We are a team of 21 professionals, including both full-time employees and contractors, managing DevOps, COTS product integration, and AWS technologies. Our mission is to provide modern solutions and technology stacks to support business needs efficiently.
Job Overview
We are seeking an AWS EKS Expert with strong DevOps experience to support our transformation initiative. The goal is to modernize COTS products from a traditional model to a cost-effective, cluster-based architecture using AWS technologies. This role requires deep expertise in EKS administration, cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD to ensure seamless deployment and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
EKS Administration & Deployment: Design, deploy, and integrate applications into EKS clusters.
Logging & Monitoring: Implement best practices for observability, high availability, and scalability.
CI/CD & DevSecOps: Ensure all deployments follow CI/CD pipelines-manual deployments are not allowed.
COTS Product Integration: Work with statistical analytics tools (e.g., Python analytics, Posit) for EKS integration.
Data Migration: Lead the migration of existing COTS products to a modern cloud-based architecture.
Documentation & Training: Develop best practice documentation and provide training on the new cluster model.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Understand Terraform modules and work with pre-approved templates to fit business needs.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong AWS EKS experience Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes cluster deployment and management.
DevOps Expertise Experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Logging & Monitoring Ability to set up monitoring tools and ensure high availability.
Infrastructure Automation Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
Containerization Understanding of Docker container development and management.
Strong documentation & communication skills Ability to create training materials and best practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with ML workflows is a plus.
Relevant AWS/Kubernetes certifications are a bonus.
