As a General Manager, you will lead the operations of one of Beacon’s portfolio companies. From overseeing daily operations to driving growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in our success. Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the acquired company’s strategy, operations, and financial performance.
- Work closely with Beacon’s centralized teams to support business integration and value creation.
- Develop and execute a growth strategy that includes product development, new market opportunities and improvement of core operations.
- Build a high-performing team and foster a culture that reflects Beacon’s values of Honesty, Hunger, Humility, and Horizon.
- Drive profitability and operational efficiency by setting clear performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Beacon’s leadership team to meet annual goals and KPIs.
- Experience as a General Manager or in a leadership role (i.e. sales, product management, business development) at a high growth software or technology company.
- Formative experience in a professional services environment (e.g. management consulting, investment banking, private equity, law firm, accounting/audit)
- A proven ability to lead teams and inspire a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
- Passion for scaling businesses and creating long-term value.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
- Roll up your sleeves mentality. Self-starter who believes every coach should also be a player.
- 10+ years professional work experience.
- A background in SaaS or transactional business models.
