Project Scope:

The Quantitative Engineer will revamp an existing large-scale simulation system used for regulatory-required financial modeling that must be updated at least annually.

Emphasis of Work:

The Quantitative Engineer will maintain and enhance large-scale financial simulation systems, implementing complex mathematical models to meet regulatory requirements. They will develop and optimize numerical programming solutions using C++ and Python while ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure and AWS services. Key responsibilities include code development and review, system optimization, and large-scale financial data processing. They will participate in system design discussions and collaborate with other engineers to maintain a robust and scalable simulation platform.

Technical Qualifications:

10 years IT experience

Expert-level proficiency in both C++ and Python programming

Experience working in enterprise-level financial enterprise organizations

Strong Linux operating system, AWS, and SQL expertise

Proven track record developing large-scale simulation systems

Experience with financial models and regulatory requirements

PhD preferred or Advance degree in Quantitative field
