Next Generation, Inc, an equal opportunity employer is seeking a PeopleSoft Business Analyst Functional Lead with 10+ years of experience to support and enhance PeopleSoft HCM. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, implementing new modules and enhancements, and providing technical and functional support. This role requires expertise in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 or higher, including HR, Compensation, Position Management, Talent Acquisition, ESS/MSS, Performance Management, Learning Management, and more. The consultant will collaborate with key stakeholders and the client's IT team to optimize system functionality and ensure seamless business operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze, document, and implement PeopleSoft HCM functional and technical solutions.
- Perform detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality.
- Develop functional architecture and models to meet evolving business requirements.
- Conduct process improvement reviews, analyzing system functionality, operations, logistics, and personnel needs.
- Map business processes to corresponding PeopleSoft functionalities.
- Ensure applications align with business needs and collaborate with process owners to resolve issues.
- Define data flow and ensure integration between business processes and systems
- Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with key stakeholders
- Configure and support PeopleSoft HCM modules, including HR, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Position Management, Performance, and Learning Management.
- Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, and system design for new functionality.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Work with the client's IT team to develop functional and technical architecture.
- Design and develop custom PeopleSoft queries and reports to support HR business needs.
- Perform end-to-end testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Write and execute complex SQL scripts (DML & DQL) for data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure seamless data flow and system integration between PeopleSoft and external systems.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues.
- Assist in project planning, defining responsibilities, and coordinating system enhancements.
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions for system enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM functional and technical roles.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 or higher, including:
- Human Resources (HR)

- ESS/MSS (Employee & Manager Self-Service)

- Proven experience in full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations (design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business and technical challenges.
- 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Query and SQL (DML & DQL scripting).
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft self-service functions and workflow configurations.
- Experience in process automation and system optimization within PeopleSoft HCM.
- Strong understanding of relational database design and data flow.
- Experience in desktop/mobile computer support and troubleshooting software-related problems
- Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) is a plus.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with state/government projects is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communications skills (written, verbal and presentation)
