Job Title: SailPoint Administrator
Location: Remote (Preferred Locations: Dallas, TX; Bothell, WA; Atlanta, GA; Middletown, NJ)
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and relevant compliance frameworks such as SOX, NIST, and PCI DSS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ platform.
- Manage user lifecycle processes: provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM issues (including aggregation failures) through ServiceNow and email.
- Develop and enforce identity governance policies in line with security and compliance requirements.
- Resolve system issues related to user access, authentication, and third-party app integration.
- Implement RBAC, ABAC, and least privilege principles.
- Support compliance audits by generating reports and maintaining logs (SOX, NIST, PCI DSS).
- Integrate SailPoint with directories, databases, cloud apps, and security tools.
- Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis for issues.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline identity lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and business teams to ensure seamless identity governance.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3+ years administering SailPoint IIQ and SailPoint IdentityNow (with a preference for a private instance of Azure).
- Expertise troubleshooting SailPoint issues (aggregation failures, connectivity, and setup).
- Experience configuring SailPoint connectors (both out-of-the-box and custom).
- Familiarity with SailPoint API integrations and provisioning workflows.
- Strong knowledge of directory services (Active Directory, LDAP), cloud IAM (Azure AD, Okta), and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOX, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) and audit processes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting).
