We are seeking a Help Desk/Desktop Support Associate.. This role is based in our Akron/Cleveland office and requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting PC and Local Area Network issues. The ideal candidate will provide support and maintenance for computer hardware and software, assist with end-user support, and respond to support tickets in a multi-platform environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and maintenance of computer hardware and software.

  • Troubleshoot PC and Local Area Network problems.

  • Work across multiple business areas in a multi-platform environment.

  • Assist end users with support requests and respond to support tickets.

  • Ensure proper functioning of mobile workforce and data communications.

  • Utilize technical knowledge of hardware, software applications, and operating systems to resolve issues.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot LAN and WAN network protocols.

  • Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.

  • Contribute to a positive work environment and maintain professional conduct.

  • Maintain documentation and provide reports as required.

  • Lift or move up to thirty-five pounds as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile workforce and data communications.

  • Technical knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and operating systems.

  • Understanding of LAN, WAN network protocols.

  • Proficiency with Office 365.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and solve technical issues.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Ability to handle multiple customer and employee/contractor requests efficiently.

  • Must be professional and courteous to co-workers and customers.

  • Associate degree, CompTIA A+ or MCSE Desktop Infrastructure certification, or three or more years of experience preferred.

  • Must have an acceptable driving record and may require up to 25% travel depending on project needs.
