Company Job Title: Tier 2 Service Technician
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Travel: Up to 25% (Occasional travel to Waco, Amarillo, Lubbock)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tier 2 Service Technician to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support to our end-users, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the overall health and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the opportunity to transition to a full-time employee.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of new hardware and software.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in IT support.
- Occasional travel to remote offices in Waco, Amarillo, and Lubbock to provide onsite support.
Top 3-5 Must Haves:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Proven experience providing Tier 2 technical support.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
