About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tier 2 Service Technician to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support to our end-users, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the overall health and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the opportunity to transition to a full-time employee.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of new hardware and software.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in IT support.
  • Occasional travel to remote offices in Waco, Amarillo, and Lubbock to provide onsite support.

Top 3-5 Must Haves:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Proven experience providing Tier 2 technical support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
