Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will help manage the day-to-day operations of the office and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent organization and communication skills, advanced knowledge of dental insurance and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Maximize the office schedule for efficiency and production
  • Explain treatment plans and schedule patients
  • Help with confirming, processing and following up on insurance claims.
  • Manage the office budget for payroll, lab fees, dental supplies and office supplies
  • Complete "end of day" balancing for production, collections and insurance adjustments
  • Monitor and minimize the office's accounts receivable.
  • Conduct interviews and hire future employees
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data
  • Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory, dental and IT equipment
  • Audit, pay and record invoices
  • Negotiate insurance reimbursement contracts


Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required, college degree preferred
  • Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar leadership position preferred
  • Must be an expert in dental insurance
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook and data entry
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven track record in administrative roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highest level of professionalism and integrity
