We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Marketing Assistant/Analyst II in Greensboro, North Carolina. The individual in this role will be tasked with researching market conditions, analyzing competitor strategies, and evaluating marketing and distribution methods.

Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on market conditions on a local, regional, or national level to establish potential sales of products or services
Analyze data on competitor prices, sales, and marketing and distribution methods
Collaborate with marketing professionals, statisticians, and other professionals to devise and evaluate data collection methods
Implement surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data for market research
Track marketing and sales trends, and forecast future trends based on collected data
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing, advertising, and communication programs and strategies
Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate and provide excellent customer service
Apply basic knowledge of principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services
Use understanding of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods in marketing strategies.

Requirements

Possess strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and customers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Proven experience in sales and negotiation, with a strong ability to close deals.
Solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
Experience in delivering training sessions and creating procedural documents.
Proficiency in conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis.
Knowledge of time management software 'About Time' is desirable.
Pricing expertise to ensure profitability and competitive positioning.
Familiarity with various selling methods and advertising platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
Experience with survey design and administration.
Ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies.
Comfortable collaborating with team members and other departments.
Ability to analyze market conditions and trends.
Experience with media production for promotional purposes.
Proficiency in creating and administering questionnaires for market research.
