We are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our finance department and play a key role in managing our financial operations.

Job Description:

As an Accountant/Bookkeeper at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our accounting processes. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Reconciling financial statements and preparing monthly financial reports
  • Processing payroll and ensuring timely payments to employees
  • Monitoring cash flow and preparing cash forecasts
  • Assisting with budgeting and financial planning activities
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial data accuracy
  • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
