
Financial Analyst

Pay Range: $66 - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end closing responsibilities including preparing journal entries, ensuring monthly transactions are correctly recorded, analyzing, reporting and presenting spend, production credits, MUV, inventory adjustments and PPV performance
- Analyze and report financial results on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis vs. prior year, plan, and forecast
- Assist department managers in developing monthly forecasts and weekly pulses (operations, maintenance, HR, engineering, HSE)
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, develop action plans and lead resolution on accounts
- Support development of the site s annual operating plan and annual strategic plan
- Coordinate and assist with multiple annual physical inventories, storeroom inventory, and fixed asset audits
- Assist site personnel, Accounts Payable, and Procurement with the resolution of blocked invoice payments as necessary
- Maintain/improve strong internal control processes and educate site through monthly finance learning series
- Support new product costing
- Implement financial process improvements to reduce cycle times, automate work, improve forecast quality, and enhance reporting and analysis processes
- Identify cost savings and productivity projects and track savings
- Special projects, ad hoc analysis, and other duties as required
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-("FINANCIAL ANALYST" OR "MONTH-END CLOSING" OR "PREPARING JOURNAL ENTRIES" OR "FINANCIAL PLANNING" OR ACCOUNTING OR FINANCE OR SAP OR "MICROSOFT OFFICE" OR EXCEL OR "RECONCILE BALANCE SHEET ACCOUNTS" OR PROCUREMENT OR "ANALYZING, REPORTING" OR "PRODUCTION CREDITS," OR "INVENTORY ADJUSTMENTS" OR "PPV PERFORMANCE").
- 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting or finance position
- SAP experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Ability to understand plant and business activities with a view broader than just the finance function
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and communicate financial data to non-financial personnel
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented, proactive, able to prioritize to meet deadlines
