Responsible for recruitment, training, management, and supervision of all personnel assigned at the contract site. Responsible for ensuring that work is performed to the specifications of the contract. Responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies. Maintains reports and records as required.
Essential Job Functions
- Overall management of janitorial contract functions.
- Manage the project in a cost-efficient and effective manner.
- Supervise and train assigned individuals in all phases of contract operations.
- Schedule all personnel and work to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Ensure the contract maintains quality standards.
- Responsible for equipment and supplies (proper usage, maintenance, storage, replacement).
- Maintain and generate necessary records required by the contract and those required by the company.
- Represent the company in meetings with Contract personnel.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
- Responsible for performing safety drills and maintaining the work site within OSHA standards.
- Supervises all assigned personnel.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities per the company’s policies and procedures and applicable laws.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to operate manual and mechanized equipment.
- Must perform other duties as assigned.
- Receives supervision from the Operations Manager.
- The position has formally assigned supervisory responsibility or authority.
- Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
- The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and outdoor environment.
- This position is subject to the DLP Services LLC, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes: Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
Education and Experience:
- (a) 4 years of college or a Bachelor’s degree.
- (b) Shall possess at leave 5 years of recent (within the past 10 years) responsible experience in Federal Contract management and supervision of facility operations. It is highly desired that this experience includes facilities in adult education resident facilities, facility maintenance, food services, housekeeping and human resources at facilities having the approximate size, characteristics, and service mix as our FLETC Complex.
- (c) Shall have proficiency in oral and written communications in English.
- (d) Shall have basic computer skills including the ability to input data into the system and generate various reports and correspondence as required.
