  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Frequency Average 10/hrs per week - part-time - 1099.

We currently have a need for an experienced mechanical source inspector to support in Cameron, TX for an on-going contract on-demand (average 10 hours per week). Long distance travel may be required.

Job Description
  • Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at supplier’s facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirement.
  • Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage.


Skills Requirement
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on precision mechanical inspection experience is required
  • Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Hands-on mechanical inspection experience
  • Must have experience working with Mil-standards
  • Previous source inspection experience


Requirements
  • Will be working as an independent contractor (1099).
  • Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA
