
Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist
- Providing technical expertise in Computer Aided Designed (CAD) and Geospatial Information System (GIS) hardware and software.
- Managing document database and meticulously reviewing and correcting the data fields associated with upload of documents for construction and design contracts.
- Serving as Contract Officer's Representative (COR) for CAD services contract, which provides CAD production work to support engineering design workload. Work includes using CAD software, reviewing and approving contractor invoices, managing workloads, monitoring and evaluating performance of on-site contractors to ensure contractual compliance and conformance to industry CAD standards.
- Training staff on proper workstation and peripheral computer equipment use. Includes providing technical guidance in person and creating written job aids on approved database management systems, spreadsheets, word-processing, SharePoint/Teams, and other software applications.
- Assisting with the configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of IT hardware, peripherals, and software applications to ensure optimal system performance.
- Developing correspondence and recommendations for higher authority signature regarding specific database and civil engineering management issues.
- Managing data, permissions, collaboration platforms on SharePoint, Microsoft Teams pages, and contents of external internet webpage.

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience must include the following:
- Applying database management concepts, principles, methods, and practices to design, develop monitor and maintain an IT database.
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Designed (CAD) software and hardware.
- Evaluating and monitoring system performance.
- Providing IT information, resolutions, discussions, and briefings to various audiences.
- Diagnosing faulty software and hardware and managing system restoration.
- Preparing correspondence and recommendations regarding database and civil engineering management issues.
