Our growing Food/CPG client has a 1 year contract role for a Remote Supply Chain Consultant for their Snacks Division.

This is a remote role, However, candidates must reside in the Eastern Time Zone and have CPG (prefer Food Products)

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years in the food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, preferably within supply chain, process management, or project management roles.

Skills:

o Strong understanding of food manufacturing and end-to-end supply chain operations.

o Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and delivering successful business results.

o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

o Strong business acumen, financial understanding, and multitasking abilities.

o Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

o Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).

Understand supply chain operations, business, and financial principles.

Leadership Capabilities

Foster cross-functional relationships to lead and influence teams.

Drive direction, facilitate decisions, and maintain momentum.

Resolve conflicts and lead collaboratively for effective problem-solving.

Engage confidently with all levels, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities of position

Support Supply chain execution for new product development and support base business operations.

Support ~30 projects contributing $50 $90MM in net sales as part of the innovation strategy, with an additional $100MM pipeline across other categories.

Project Management and Commercialization (60%)

Coordinate activities for new product innovations, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Engineering, and plants to execute timelines and actions.

Manage risks to meet project success metrics and proactively resolve challenges.

Ensure the end-to-end supply chain setup for new launches (capacity vetting, capabilities validation, item setup, and Day 1 readiness).

Drive process adherence and act as an owner and advisor in Tech Ops, Commercialization, and Gating meetings.

Cross-functional Support and Governance

Provide supply chain expertise during weekly commercialization meetings for various brands/categories.

Own and govern monthly manufacturing team meetings and new item setup trackers.

Standardize commercialization processes and ensure proactive communication within the supply chain.
