Join our world-class Global Sales Organization at CWT, the global leader in corporate travel management. As a successful sales director, you'll bring fresh insights to our North American sales team. We're looking for enthusiastic, strategic, and creative thinkers eager to drive the growth of our mid-market client portfolio.

In this role, you'll lead all phases of the sales process, including effective lead qualification, strategy development, proposal/RFP responses, and contracting in an assigned U.S. sales territory. The position is 100% virtual and requires 10%-25% travel within your assigned territory and to attend fun, collaborative team meetings.

What are the main responsibilities?

  • Lead the Sales Journey: Take charge of the sales process, craft winning strategies, and collaborate with a dynamic team to respond to bids.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Engage with potential clients, identify and qualify new prospects, and develop strategic value propositions.
  • Master CRM Tools: Efficiently manage large volumes of information using our cutting-edge Customer Relationship Management tool.
  • Sell Across Industries: Gain experience selling in diverse industry verticals and thrive in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.
  • Drive Strong Revenues: Develop compelling global value propositions to bring in strong revenues for our company.
  • Develop Value Propositions: Help create compelling global value propositions for prospective clients.
  • Client-Centric Selling: Apply the principles of Client Centric Selling, including strategy development and collaboration with internal stakeholders to secure new business.
  • Challenge the Status Quo: Learn to interface with buyers professionally, providing appropriate pushback to differentiate CWT and share insights.

Experience & Education:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, tourism, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven work or classroom experience in selling environments where you have demonstrated the ability to build relationships, present organized ideas and thoughts, and use active listening to gain trust and loyalty.

Language, Communication, And Presentation Skills:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiator with problem-solving abilities.
  • Business Acumen: Willing to learn how to link value propositions to client needs effectively.
  • Presentation Skills: Keen to develop presentation skills and learn the art of 'story selling' to create emotional connections with the audience.

Computer Skills:

  • PC Literacy: Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle CRM is a plus, but not required.

Business Skills:

  • Results-Driven: Energetic, committed, and driven to achieve results.
  • Self-Motivated: Eager to learn and demonstrate business acumen.
