Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will play a key role in capturing and documenting business requirements for enterprise applications, specifically Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify and capture business requirements for CRM and PPM enterprise applications.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand user needs.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Process Documentation & Requirement Management
  • Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Create workflow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and process maps to support system changes.
  • Maintain a structured repository for requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  1. Collaboration with Stakeholders & IT Teams
  • Work closely with the Business team to align enterprise applications with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clarity in requirements.
  • Facilitate discussions to bridge the gap between business expectations and technical feasibility.
  1. System Analysis & Work Item Translation
  • Collaborate with system analysts to define enterprise application functionalities.
  • Translate high-level business needs into tangible work items, such as epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization of development tasks.
  1. Testing & Validation
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions against business requirements.
  • Document test scenarios and ensure system changes align with user expectations.
  • Gather feedback and recommend refinements for system enhancements.
  1. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in CRM and PPM systems.
  • Recommend improvements to business processes and application workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT governance and documentation standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, process documentation, and system analysis.
  • Experience working with CRM like salesforce and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) applications.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar workflow documentation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • May require occasional travel for stakeholder meetings and workshops.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in enterprise-level IT projects related to CRM, PPM, or ERP applications.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, process automation, and integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Certification in CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent is a plus.
