
Electromotive Equipment Mechanic (Supervisor)
Applicants will be reviewed and referred on the following dates: Feb 25, 2025, Mar 07, 2025, and closing on Mar 27, 2025. Announcement will close once position is filled.
1. Inspects, repairs and replaces batteries, motors, solenoids, tires, steering devices, wires, bearings, charging units, canopies,
upholstery and other working pans on battery-operated electric golf carts.
2. Makes general repairs to mechanically operated braking assemblies, steering assemblies and drive gears. Charges batteries and maintains proper water level in batteries. Uses electrical test equipment, such as voltmeters or multi-meters to check circuit
continuity. Uses a variety of socket wrenches and other mechanics hand-tools in performing mechanical assembly and disassembly. May advise supervisor of bench stock level and any special parts required.
3. Oversees the care of the driving range to include repairs to the ball dispensing machine, ball washer and elevator. Maintains the ball picking units. Oversees the set up on the range tee.
4. May perform incidental cleaning and painting tasks, such as using hand-brush to paint the inside of the battery compartment with acid-resisting paint and painting the outside of motor armatures. Ensures the proper rotation of the cart fleet to maintain consistent records and use time.
5. Performs supervisor tasks such as directing, overseeing and documenting work activities; evaluates work performance. Approves leave or other absences from work. Initiates personnel and disciplinary actions, approves leave and counsels employees. Supervises the setup of golf carts for daily use and events.
6. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

May occasionally be required to lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds. Must be able to actively stand, bend, stoop and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises and electric shock. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
