Business Analyst (Application Performance Management)

Position: Business Analyst (Application Performance Management)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (REMOTE)

Summary:

• The Business Analyst will work closely with IT teams and business units on various initiatives
• Must have experience with gathering and documenting requirements
• Must have experience with conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Application Performance Management Implementation experience is preferred
• Dynatrace experience is preferred
• This position is Remote with occasional travel to Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Analyze and model business processes to identify areas for improvement
• Develop functional specifications and use cases to guide project development
• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals
• Conduct Data Analysis to support decision-making and identify trends
• Assist in Project Management activities, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against business requirements
• Provide training and support to end-users during the implementation of new systems and processes
• Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and training materials

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of Information Technology (IT) Business Analysis experience using Agile/Waterfall methodologies
• Must have experience with gathering and documenting requirements
• Must have experience with conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience with conducting Data Analysis to support decision-making and identify trends
• Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor s Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered
• Information Technology/Utilities/Oil & Gas/Energy industry experience is preferred
• Application Performance Management Implementation experience is preferred
• Dynatrace experience is preferred
