Position Title: Loan Analyst

Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension based on project needs)

Office Location: Chicago, IL 60602 (Hybrid)

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Onsite preferably on Mondays and Tuesdays

Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 40 Hours/week, 8-5 Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr.

What project will this contractor be working on? Validating email information to clean up systems.

Job Description:

  • Support an operational risk-based program within US Operations (Loans, Deposits, Payments).
  • Liaise with the US TI&I Risk and Governance Team on behalf of US Commercial Operations to supply information required to complete periodic test of operational controls.
  • Collaborate with US Commercial operations and US TI&I Risk and Governance Team in developing and monitoring corrective action plans when responding to Audit, Compliance, Self-Assessed, or regulatory examination findings.
  • Assist with risk guidance in developing, reviewing and maintaining operational risk and compliance policies and procedures as it relates to US Commercial Operations.
  • Coordinate Risk and Control Self-Assessment; Risk Identification; and Change Initiative Risk Assessment processes, as applicable for US Operations.
  • In conjunction with US TI& I Risk and Governance Team, manage day-to-day risk issues; design and implement new controls and special projects.
  • Update and maintain a risk and control inventory remediating any gaps and inadequacies.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory changes across the industry, analyzing how the changes will affect US Commercial Operations, and work with US TI & I Risk and Governance Team on a strategy to implement changes within US Commercial Operations.

Must Have Requirement:

  • 2+ years' experience with loan systems such as IBS and ACBS
  • 2+ years' Loan operations experience

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of AML requirements
  • Previous banking industry experience

Soft Skills:

  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills

Interview Process:

  • 1 round video interview with the hiring manager and a colleague half an hour each.

Focus would be the candidates background and experience level
