- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel up to 25%.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
- Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years.
- Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years.
- Temporary reassignment may be made or extended at management discretion.
- Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Making recommendations for process improvements and efficiency; 2) Monitoring quality programs for compliance; and 3) Developing quality assurance policies for organizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
